Abstract: This Education Week series explores the successes and challenges of the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation's new venture into charter school sponsorship. The national organization has been authorizing charter schools in Ohio since July 2005 and currently sponsors nine in Cleveland, Dayton, and Springfield.
