Abstract:  This report, conducted by the Center for School Change, shows how families and schools can have a more accurate picture of student achievement. The report also presents a model program of academic accountability for each of the nation's public schools. This two-year, federally funded project involved 21 schools from 13 states. This is one of the first national projects that convened charter public schools and district run schools to learn from each other.
