Daniel Webster College is seeking to sponsor what would be the largest charter school in New Hampshire. The proposed Academy of Science and Design, which would focus on math, technology and engineering, would accommodate 450 students in grades seven through 12. The state Board of Education must approve the charter request. New Hampshire currently has seven charter schools. If approved, officials hope to open the school by fall 2007.
