Bryan, The Fulton Project recently received a planning grant from EdVisions to start a new Charter school in Fall River, Massachusetts using the Teacher Professional Partnership model (more information is available at www.fultonproject.org). It is an ambitious undertaking as some educators in MA have stated: "great idea but it will never work here." We are in the early stages of planning and development, and have a long way to go to make it a reality; however, I think it is an effective model and one worth pursing as people around the country continue the debate over creating excellent schools.
