Couldn't "increased academic achievement for all students" be considered a statement on behalf of educational equity? Are schools that cultivate love of learning and independence more likely to produce kids that know how to use their minds well? And can they acheive this result for ALL kids? These seem important questions.
What are some of the different ways charter schools define what constitutes academic achievement?
