Universities and colleges, in particular community colleges, can be an excellent resource to charter schools. There can be academic and financial benefits to both parties when solid partnerships are established. We are currently developing an agreement with a neighboring community college that includes such things as sharing facilities and sports fields, sharing staff, enhancing our secondary course offerings, offering vocational classes, shared profesional development programs, increased secondary options programs for HS students, joint construction of an auditorium and more.
