I'd like to know who's doing the "hammering," and then make a guess as to whether they ever liked charter schools in the first place. Here's where the "charter movement" has some work to do (and where we have common cause with others that serve at-risk kids). We've got to find compelling ways of documenting student growth with hard data. And we've also got to get wise to bureaucrats who use NCLB as a cheap excuse for undercutting good charter schools.
