Point well taken -- and there's lots of discussion in the other threads about value-addded and other measures. But I think we have to realize that charter schools have to be able to show results - -and in this day and age that has to include standardized assessments. We need better ways of interpreting results and demonstrating gains, but they're an inescapable part of the accountabiility landscape.
