Your points are well taken, I agree. As we continue to move forward in dialogue with the Superintendent of the local school district, it is my hope that we can work together to create a new, innovative educational program that does take a look at an alternative governance model and instructional methods. However, I am concerned with how much autonomy will be granted; if autonomy isn't given, then will we be able to create a truly alternative educational program for the students in the district? How does one go about achieving autonomy?
