I am the principal of a very successful K-6 charter school in Anchorage, Alaska. We are considering applying for alternative- or optional status with ASD because our building is falling apart. Although the district has been assisting us in upkeep and not charging rent--- we need a new building and playground that is up to code and meet population needs.
We can bond quickly to getstarted IF we aren't a charter. Any suggestions?
