I totally agree with your arguement with using Public Information Officers. It is easier not to go to the state level but more with the local level representatives of the local Charter School authorizer. By establishing a good relationship with the local board of education it is easier to use their resources. Our state association as just like yours does not fully support school reform but I am not giving them much choice.
