Mayor Autry of Fresno, CA and his education committee are in full support of my Woods Charter K-8th Grade Schools and Woods Charter Student Teacher (K-8th Grade) program. To get a Charter for these schools would be great, but they have tried and no luck. Now it is my job to get the Charter. If I get the Charter they will be behind me 100% and we get going right away.
I've just moved to California from Iowa where support for A Charter bill was simply terrible. I worked earnestly for 6 years to get a charter bill passed in Iowa. It is a worthless bill and I'm sure there will never be Charters in Iowa. However, it is almost impossible to realize that it is a almost the same here in California. But they do have wonderful Charters here.
Not that it will do much good, but I'm trying hard with the Governor, all state legislators along with trying to get something from my friend President Bush. This is a terrible time for him now, but in Iowa he sure helped me get the news out in his campaign with my Grandmas for Bush because he supports Public Charter Schools.
So I'm "crying out" for some ideas to instate my Woods Charter Schools here in California. HELP! HELP! HELP!
