Every voice is important in a democracy... and no voice is more important than the next. That said, the power of one shared by many is the key to influencing public policy. Absent a clear message and easily understood purpose, Charter Schools like all other human endeavors will be challenged by those with differing opinions or priorities. Although it is nice to seek out a gaudian angel or knight in white armour, remember that even the NEA and other national powerhouses began with one who effectively communicated a purpose and perserved over time.
As per Churchill: "Never give up. Never, Never, Never"
