At ACE we include political supporters in everything we do. For example, awards nights, graduation, open house, competitive events, and special invites for tours and to speak to our students. In a small state such as Nevada, as well as our proximity to our capital, this works well for us. We correspond with them on a regular basis about our accomplishments, goals, and issues we face. Our message is consistent - here is what ACE does for students to meet educational goals, here is how we do it, here are the issues we face, how can you help. We have been productive in increasing our per student distribution as a result. It is much easier to support something that you know first-hand about, that is our goal.
