Michelle.
Milwaukee Public Schools and Appleton School District are two exemplar authorizers with transparent, well-defined approval and renewal processes. You can find contact information for those two school districts on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction webpage at http://www.dpi.state.wi.us/dpi/dfm/sms/csindex.html
We publish an annual charter school "yearbook" that has a description of each of our operating charter schools, with contact information. Chapter 4 includes the appendix with a contact list.
