- Select the "Login" link in the upper right-hand corner of the dialogue Web site. Enter your login name and password. You will enter the day's topic agenda.
- Review the agenda or select a different topic from the pull-down menu on the right, click "Go".
- Visit a Focus Point Discussion by selecting "Go to this Discussion". Follow the conversation by clicking on "Next" message.
- Select "Reply to this Message" to respond to a message. Give your message a subject, draft short concise text and click on "Submit".
- Visit a different Focus Point Discussion by clicking on the Discussion Tab or "Discussion List" located above the message window.
- Review discussion Summaries from links on the dialogue Agenda.
- Registration: The dialogue is open to the public. Registered participants can contribute to discussions, receive dialogue updates and summaries by email and complete a dialogue evaluation. To register you must have a valid email address. Select a login and password that is easy to remember. You will receive an email confirmation of your register.
- Login/Password Help: At the login, select "Forget your user name or password?" and follow the instructions. Enter the email address you used when you registered. Your password or login will be sent to that address. If you need additional help, contact help@edgateway.net.
- Editing Your Profile: To make changes to your profile go to "My Profile", (link is located in the top right of your screen), If you don’t see this link, you aren’t logged in. When viewing your profile page click on the orange button labeled "Edit Profile" and make changes to your contact information or Click "Update Dialogue Registration" to make changes on your dialogue registration. Submit the changes by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the page.
- Changing your password: To change your password, go to "My Profile" (link is located at very top right of your screen). If you don’t see this link, you aren’t logged in. When viewing your profile page click on the orange button labeled "Change Password." Submit the changes by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the page.

Participants need to have access to the Internet and a web browser such as Internet Explorer (version 6+ for PC, 5+ for Mac), Mozilla (version 1.6), Firefox (version .8), Netscape (version 7+) or the text-based browser Lynx.
