Ann Arbor Learning Community (AALC) is looking for a Dean of Education who is committed to partnering with excellent teachers and involved parents in helping students achieve excellence inside and beyond the classroom.
Named one of the Center for Education Reform's Exemplary Charter Schools of the Year in 2007, AALC supports child-centered, self-directed learning in multi-age classroom settings. The school’s mission is to nurture independent learners and accomplishes this through project-based learning and support of multiple learning styles.

3. Robust and relevant experience in education and administrative experience
4. Demonstrated leadership and success in parent and community relations
5. Advanced degree preferred
6. Strategic planning/budgeting and fundraising experience desired
